Highlights of Brisbane for Travellers

> Southbank

Step out for lunch in Southbank at La Via for the best gluten free pizza in town, followed by a walk through the picturesque boganvillias, stopping by for dessert at. Ask evening comes, check out the Wheel of Brisbane.

> New Farm Park

Go for breakfast at The Little Larder for a fresh modern Australian with gluten free bread, crispy polenta and more, then cool down with some gelati at Re Del Gelato in the afternoon.

> The City Cat

Brisbane City Cat is a ferry that departs regularly and allows you to commute easily across the river, seeing beautiful scenery and getting some fresh air while aboard.

> Kangaroo point

Bring your own picnic for a catch up with friends, or go for an evening stroll and see the Story Bridge light up. At dusk or during the day, go rock climbing on the cliffs, however be sure to book in advanced.

> The Story Bridge

Check it out at dusk from Kangaroo Point when the lights come on, beautiful.

> Fortitude Valley

Great for a wild night out on the town.  Get a bite to eat and BYO drinks at Pho Hoang Gia for some well priced Vietnamese food or Bow Thai for something a little more special, depending on your mood. Check out La Ruche for a cocktail and something more glamorous, followed by Our Place for a tea pot, Oh Hello for a boogie and then Capulet for a night cap. The morning after go to Freestyles Tout at the Emporium and have dessert for breakfast. For a Sunday sesh try InCider Trading or Elixir Rooftop Bar.

> Eagle Street

Start at Jade Buddha for a beautiful lunch on the river,  Shadow Lounge underneath for an afternoon beverage, then head to Fridays Riverside and watch the sun go down.

> Queen Street Mall

The heart of Brisbane full of shops, cafes and a few bars. Venture out to Elizabeth St Arcade and Adelaide Street for boutique stores. Stop for a coffee at Brew on Albert Street, then go stock up on chocolate at The Dark Chocolatier.

> West End

Check out Boundary Street, full of good eats, cigars and coffee. You pretty much can’t go wrong wherever you go, but here are my favourites. The Gun Shop Cafe for breakfast, Dodomi Korean Restaurant for great cheap eats, gluten free options and BYO. Lychee Lounge to keep it classy with a cocktail. The Loft for a Sunday sesh. Finally, make your Monday better by checking out Paladar Fumior Salon for a coffee and cigar.
