Il Vegetariano Florence is just a few minutes walk from Piazza Duomo in Florence. It has a homely atmosphere with a menu that changes daily. When you arrive be sure to hold a table, join the que, order and grab a tray, then get served at the counter. Everything is clearly labelled if it is gluten free (with a triangle) or vegan (with a star) and of course, from the name everything is vegetarian.
Cost: Il Vegetariano Florence is a fun experience and great value with primi between €4-6 and secondi €6-9, all desserts €4. House wine is €5 per half litre.

Hours: Closed Monday. Open Tuesday to Friday: lunch and dinner from 12.30pm to 2.30pm / 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Open Saturday, Sunday and holidays: only dinner 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Closed over Christmas and for three weeks in August.
