Gluten Free Review: La Norma, Catania

La Norma is a gorgeous traditional Sicilian restaurant, and definitely one to check out. The food is tasty, the atmosphere is cosy and full of Italian locals, and the service is great: I asked the waiter for gluten free pasta and they actually stocked it!
We ordered the ‘Norma Pasta’, which is the traditional pasta dish from Catania with ricotta and tomato, and also  a seafood risotto (which he kindly let me know wasn’t gluten free, so make sure you  advise the staff if you get the risotto for it to be gluten free). Both dishes were great, and I will definitely go back next time I am in Sicily!

Price? €€ Average – not overly cheap but great quality. About 9€ to 12€ for a primi and 13€ and up for a secondi. The food was of a high quality and very fresh, so it is worth it!

Location? A 10 minute walk from the city centre of Catania.
Via Umberto, 256, 95129 Catania, Sicily, Italy

Hours? Closed from 2pm until around dinner (I think 7pm).
