06 Oct Gluten Free Review: Mama Eat Roma
Take a walk through the beautiful quartiere of Trastevere, and you will find Mama Eat Roma. A simplistic yet wonderful restaurant whether you’re celiac or not that offers lunch and dinner daily. The entire menu consists of both gluten free and/or ‘gluten filled’ options – taking me back to the times when I used to go to to a restaurant and had the choice to pick anything off the menu, not limited by what was or wasn’t gluten free.
I ordered the gluten free linguine with cacio e pepe – a typical Roman pasta dish followed by tiramisu for dessert. The linguine was amazing, perfectly cooked and well balanced made from cheese and pepper, simple yet tasty. The tiramisu was yummy, it was made in an alternative way using sponge cake and chocolate instead of lady finger biscuits.
The vast choice of gluten free options is everything you wish and dream of in a gluten free alternative. The menu is offered in both gluten free and non gluten free versions so no matter your requirements, there is always a choice!
Here is a snippet of the menu with the unlimited amount of choices available! Pricing is reasonable with food on offer of a high standard. Mama Eat Roma is located in both Rome and Naples so if you’re travelling to one these cities I recommend you dine in!
